I am seeking information on James Taylor b. @1800 who married Fannie Hamilton d. of Luke Hamilton and Elizabeth. Census records point to James being associated with an Elijah Taylor b. @1798 (brother? who may have married Mary Leverett) and a William Taylor b. 1770/1780 (father?). Other records indicate he could be related to a Samuel H. Taylor (brother?) whose wife was Adeline. Earliest I find James in in 1830 in Anderson Co., SC. He seems to appear in Charleston with William and Elijah in 1840, but back in Anderson by 1850. I appreciate any help on this. Thanks, joe
