These two people married in Commerce, Georgia, but moved to Anderson, SC in early 1920's. Dr. Lamartine Deadwyler was a family physician and then became a chiropractor. They lived most of their lives on 120 or 130 Sharpe Street,(city directory made mistakes on address) but this house was later destroyed to build a motel. This house was a huge 2 story light brick with 4 beautiful columns. It was their office and residence. I'm looking for any info on Nina Ware, his wife. She was buried Nov. 29, 1950 at Forest Lawn Cemetery outside of Anderson. Looking for parents name, or sister, brother, something. She was born about 1896 near Elberton or Commerce Georgia.
Can't find an obituary notice or even the funeral home. Was thinking the funeral home could be Sullivan-King Mortuary. Is it still in existence?
