Pre-Internet days, my dad (Richard Sartwell) attempted to link our family to an unknown Sartwell he saw on the cover of a DuPont company magazine. My dad was born in Savanna, IL during the late 1930's and his father was Paul Sartwell I believe. My dad reached a dead end during his research, but there was speculation of someone (perhaps Paul, Paul's father, or grandfather) leaving the east coast and moving to the midwest. I would greatly appreciate any information. Thanks!
