Hi, I just happened upon this forum while searching. I am just beginning my search on the Sarsfield family name and don't have a lot of information as of yet. Mary Sarsfield/Sarchfield, born in Nova Scotia, Canada in 1849 is the daughter of Augustin and Nancy Sarsfield. She is also my gg grandmother. Mary married Isaac B. Hazel on December 19, 1872 in the Baptist Church in Canning, Nova Scotia. They had 10 children together. She died somewhere between 1896 - 1901. I know nothing about Augustin Sarsfield other than he married Nancy ? and is the father to Mary. I discovered this by obtaining a copy of the marriage certificate between Mary and Isaac Hazel. If anyone has any information I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Tanya |
