Hi Shirley, I believe that some of my informaton came from the Dale Sandlin book. William is in the line of John Sandlin, Jr. and Sarah, then James & Elizabeth. William was born ca 1785 NC and died possibly in Perry Co., MO. William and Mary children were: James, Elizabeth, William Barnett, Mary, Nicholas, Obediah, Joseph, and Lorice Narsena. It appears the Sandlins came to MO via NC, then TN arriving in Perry Co, MO ca 1840.
