Anne, I found Sabina Sample listed in the New Mexico Death Index. She died 12-29-1927, Mora Co. at age 86.6. You can order a copy of a copy of the death cert for $1.00 from the NM death index project 1870 Census La Junta, Mora Co. NM Territory Samples, James 38 Sanchez, Sabina 24 Anastacia 11 years old 1880 census Cherry Valley, Mora NM Frank Samples 40 born in VA 1840 Sabina Samples 36 NM 1844 Anna 8 born NM 1872 1900 U.S. Cnesus Chderry Valley, Mora I believe the names were switched and that this is them. Grase Sanchez born June 1839 Seirna Sanchez born Aug 1870 Next neighbors-the Arculano Baca 1910 U.S. Census same location Baca Herculano 47 Anna wife 27 married at age 21 Herculano 19 Edmond 17 Anthony 8 Sanchez Sabine mother in law 64 widow. 1929 census same location Sabina Sanchez 78 widow No luck in finding Anna's baptims record yet. Her name may be Anastacia, Anagracia, or some variation. I've looked for Frank Samples under Frank, James, and Frank James but no luck finding a death record yet. Gloria
