I'm looking for information about Margaret Sackett, RN, who was a Public Health Nurse in New York City in 1930. She was part of the team who carried out landmark trials of immunizing babies (born into families with active TB)with an attenuated TB bacillus ("BCG")to see whether it could reduce the terrible toll of death in infancy.
The citation for their report: Levine MI, Sackett MF (1946). Results of BCG vaccination in New York City. American Review of Tuberculosis 53:517-532.
