Looking for info on the Alexander Ross family, living in Saratoga, NY 1790-1810+ Alexander Ross was b. Scotland, came to America 1768 or before and d. ~1813 NY. He had 4 sons and 2 daughters. One son was David Ross b. 1768 who married Dorothy St. John and removed to Rochester area then Leon, Cattaruagus, NY about 1823. 1790 Census Balls Town, Saratoga, NY Alexander Ross - 4 sons and 2 daughters over 16 yrs old Hugh Ross Hugh Jr. Ross William Ross Q: Are these men related? 1800 Census, Milton, Saratoga, NY Alexander Ross David James Amos Q: I know David is Alexander's son - are James and Amos Alexander's sons as well? |
