Not related..........just a lookup Has anyone ordered a copy of his 'original' Social Security application? One of the few documents filled out by the person themself. Death records are filled out by others and often contain errors or omissions. Questions asked on this form is where you born??? Father's name & mothers full maiden name. With luck you will get some great clues from this form. Social Security Death Index Name:        William Lord SSN:        076-07-8728 Born:        30 Aug 1908 Died:        Oct 1968 State (Year) SSN issued:        New York (Before 1951) Go to: http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ Imput his social security number....nothing else. Once his entry comes up......go to the far right side of the entry and click on the SS-5 Letter. A nice letter with all his info will print out. Add you info to the letter, enclose a check & mail off. Good luck Marsha
