I am new to this site. I have been all over the Internet looking for information on my great-grandfather, Sylvester Rose. He was born in 1872 in TN. His father is listed as having been born in AL, although I don't know who his father was. Sylvester (or "Vester") was married to Annie (maiden name unknown). This was possibly Sylvester's second marriage. He and Annie are buried in Trenton, TN. It is possible that Sylvester's grandfather was George Washington Rose of Wayne County, TN. G.W. Rose was born around 1825, moved around a bit, married Nancy (?), and had six children with her, at least some of them in northern AL. For some reason, I hit a roadblock whenever I search for Sylvester's father's identity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
