I'm looking for any information anyone might have on Sidney Rose, born 1817 in Virginia, parents unknown. He was a Methodist preacher. He lived most of his life in Missouri, married Mary Jane Parmer 17 Dec 1840, in Morgan County, Missouri. I have him on census records from 1830-1860. I've found references his father was a Rolly or Rolla Francis Rose, but the dates do not match up for what records I've found.
