If you are familiar with this NC couple who were living in Carroll Co. MS by 1850, does anyone have any idea what SPECIFIC record there is that establishes that Sarah's maiden name was PEYTON? I know there was a son whose full name is supposed to have been Zachariah Peyton Rose. Was that it -- or was there something specific in the records of the family that actually showed a maiden name of Peyton? Thanks! --Carl
