Have received info that Josef Gerak's wife - Rosalia Kuchta child was born in "Chanvitch" Austria in 1901. I am unable to find this place. The language spoken was not German, or Russian, possibly Polish, possibly Hungarian. Hungarian seems a good possibility as one document re ships manifest said Magyar. Any help would be appreciated.
