Iíve hit a brick wall whilst researching one of my great grandmothers, Hannah Ivanovitch, and Iím hoping someone can help provide additional information .

Hannahís marriage to my great grandfather, Ernest Allenby Holmes, took place on 1st November 1893 in Woolwich, London, England. According to their marriage certificate Hannah, who was 22 years old at the time of her wedding, was the daughter of a Fetka Ivanovitch, whose profession is given as diver. Census returns state that Hannah was born in Sultans, Romania, but I have no idea when the family moved to England.

Hannah and Ernest had at least five children (Ernest, Frank, Erina Doris, Clarence and Cyril) and, after their marriage broke down, she had at least one daughter (Olga) by her second partner, Henry Peacock. Hannah eventually died in London in 1960.

Any information regarding the family would be greatly appreciated!

Best wishes
