I am seeking additional genealogical data on the Benjamin Rogers who lived in the Saratoga Patent in 1779.

In 1779 Benjamin Rogers' farm was assessed at $25.00 (probably Continental dollars).

Benjamin Rogers leased 80 Acres in Great Lott 13 of the Saratoga Patent from Abraham Ten Broeck. [for the legal description of the farm see NY State Library call # 5310 et seq.]

By 1790 Benjamin Rogers had moved from Great Lott 13 (Town of Stillwater) to the Town of Saratoga according to the US Census Return for Albany County.

Benjamin Rogers died testate in Saratoga County, NY in 1806.

What was his birth date and place of birth?

Who were his parents?

His wife's given name was Mary.

What was her maiden name?

Benjamin Roger's children were:

1. Benjamin Rogers, Jr., a/k/a
Ben of Fishkill
2. Jeremiah Rogers
3. Caleb Rogers
4. John Rogers m. Sally McCarthy,
daughter of Moses McCarty,
son of John Carty of Farm 2-N,
Great Lott 16.
5. Isaac Roger
6. Joel Rogers
7. Sarah Rogers Potter
8. Germima Rogers Swartwout
9. Mary Rogers Wiggins
10. Margaret Rogers Smith
11. Phebe Rogers Wilcox
12. Elizabeth Rogers

Does anyone have dates of birth and death for Ben Rogers' children?

Benjamin Rogers signed the Saratoga District Petition to take wheat four to Boston for the purpose of purchasing salt.

I would appreciate any genealogical data on Benjamin Rogers and his family that you are willing to share.

The other 1779 Saratoga District taxpayers are Harper Rogers, James Rogers, Jr. (1746-1796), James J. Rogers, John Rogers, Jr., John Rogers, Sr., Joseph Rogers, Philip Rogers, Philip Rogers, Sr. Is Benjamin Rogers related to any of these other men? If so, how?

Thank you for your help.
