This person married Helen Louise BARCLAY in Iowa I believe, but perhaps not, on June 11, 1932. Helen Louise BARCLAY was my grandfather's niece, and the granddaughter of Crawford S. BARCLAY of West Liberty, Iowa. Her father was Ralph W. BARCLAY, the brother of my grandfather, Wade Crawford BARCLAY. She may have been born in Lisbon, Iowa. This marriage had issue: (1) Richard Barclay ROEDER, b. March 3, 1933; and (2) Don Ellsworth ROEDER, b. January 1936. Any ROEDER descendants from this line are distant cousins of mine thru the maternal BARCLAY connection. I have been researching this BARCLAY line for years, and have the direct line back to James BARKLEY > Ireland in 1729. As do you perhaps if this posting makes any sense to you. So if there are any ROEDER cousins out there who wish to have any of this information, please respond according. I am willing to share what I have on the connections, and perhaps you can bring me up to date on some things I have NOT found out yet about the BARCLAY family, and this ROEDER connection. Thank you.
