1900 U.S. Federal Census Rockfish, Nelson , Va E.I. Robertson b. May 1847 age 53 Mary I.Robertson age 54 Ella I.Robertson age 18 Charlie Robertson age 14 Eldridge P.Robertson age 32 Nannie Robertson age 24 Mirtle Robertson age 3 Russell Robertson age 1 My Grandmother was Rebecca Ann Robinson(Robertson) b. 1853 in Fluvanna Co.Va to David Robinson and Mary Herndon She had a younger brother Benjamin R. Robinson who sent a letter to her in 1920 from Shipman,Va Which is in Nelson County. The letter was in an envelope with a preprinted return address-" R.M.Robertson,Well Driller" Could the above Robertson family be related to my grandmother and her brother? David Robinson was born in 1789 and died in 1861 in Fluvanna County. He was first married to a Mary Hodges in Goochland Co.Va and had several children by her.
