Hi, My father is from the Benavides area and most of his records were found in san Diego, Tx. His name is Valdemar C. Rios son of Encarnacion Rios and Victoria Cantu. My grandmother I believe was from Benavides but it is possible she was adopted into the Cantu family. My father was born 1927. If this helps let me know. My father is still living and may know more.
