Rev. Richard Reinhold Riedel was a Baptist minister and artist at the turn of the century. He was my paternal grandfather who had immigrated from (possibly)Dresden, Germany when he was young. Reportedly, he had three or four sisters who also came to America, but did not get along with my grandmother (Carrie Langham)who he married in Indiana County, Penn. My father, Richard L. Riedel was born in 1908,(their only child) but has been deceased since 1988. I am hoping to learn more about what happened to the great aunts.
