Hi Barbara, I'm not sure what you are actually looking for or for whom. There are a lot of Georges' in the Ricker family, I'll try and give you a short note from the beginning of book to see if you have a connection. George and Maturin Ricker were brothers that came from the Isle of Jersey, an island about 20 miles off the the coast of France, ruled by the English Crown. Not sure of the exact time frame since the early records of Dover, NH were lost, but the earliest known is 1 Oct 1647. George and Maturin were both killed by the Indians on 4 Jun 1706. The Genealogy covers the two brothers families, I'm not sure about the William you mention. The earliest Willian is a great grandson of George Ricker. The address for Heritage Books is www.heritagebooks.com. I hope this helps, if you would like to know more or exchange information you can e-mail me at bpike@totalnetnh.net, the NH does mean New Hampshire so we are not that far apart if you are in Mass. Good luck and I'm glad to hear from you. Best Wishes Brian |
