A while back Martha posted the Rice of Kendall Co, IL in 1850. See below - My Rice Joel & Cynthia Rice and son Edwin H. Rice moved to Kendall Co, IL Big Grove - about 1855. ' Edwin Rice married -(E.H. Rice to Mary Jane Warner) October 9, 1855, A-1 Page 64 Kendall Co, Marriage Records, May 1841 - Sept 1915 They had a daughter Harriet - (Hattie about 1859) Mary J. (Warner) Rice died ---> Rice, Mary J. wife of E. H. d. Nov 29 1863 age 27 yrs 11 mo 15 d In 1870 - Edwin Rice has moved to Crawford Co, PA - Meadville Edwin's mother and probably his father - moved to Cass Co Michigan Pokagon by 1870. I wonder if there could be any connection between Joel Rice of Spencer, Tioga Co. NY - then Kendall & Pokagon - to the Rice below. Is there anyone out there who has researched these families - did either come from Spencer, NY Tioga Co ?
