My name is Deadra Rice and I would like to tell that I am related to John and Elizabeth (Parker) Rice. They are my fourth great grandparents. They had son Ira P. Rice who married Ardelia P. Stevens. My great great grandfather was Hiram S. Rice who served in the Union during the American Civil War. He was married to Priscilla Perry, daughter of Thomas and Marian J. Perry. They had James Thomas Rice who had my grandfather Howard Loren Rice. I come through his son John H. Rice, who is my dad. I am looking for information pertaining to John Rice's second wife Philome. All I know about her is that she and my ancestor had two children: Susan Rosalia Rice who was born March 8th 1830, Reading Township, Windsor County, Vermont and Alzamon Davis Rice who was born Nov 24 1828, Reading Township, Windsor County, Vermont. Would like to know more about her especially whether or not she was married before meeting my ancestor John Rice.
