Looking for info on Christian Reuter, his wife and his ancestors/decendants. Christian arrived in the New Orleans according to passenger lists Jan 1851 (but was Jan 1852)from Germany. He was a cigar maker. His wife was Margaretha. Six children lived; Mrs. Arthur Krener, Mrs. Jacob Redle, Mrs. Jacob Frank, Charles, Mrs. Aug. Feldmeier and Arthur. He was in Columbia in 1860 & 1870 and then Waterloo by 1900. He served in the Civil War from 1861 - 1864. He was born in 1834 and died in 1910. He and his wife are buried at Waterloo City Cemetery.
