Seeking information on Nathan Reid, b. 3-3-1753 Daggett's Spring, Botetourt Co., VA, a son of John and Martha Reid. He m. Sophia Thorpe 1784. Was Nathan Reid a chain carrier for Daniel Boone? Ca. 1776 Nathan Reid was living in Montgomery Co., VA which had been formed from Botetourt and Fincastle that year.
