Mrs. Clarence Walker.
Mrs. Shirley Beem Walker, 56, of 49 Newington Rd., West Hartford died Saturday at Hartford Hospital. Born in Blaine, Maine, she lived in the Hartford area 23 years. She was a member of the Elmwood Community Church and Circle 4 of the Church. She leaves her husband, Clarence J. Walker, a daughter, Miss Susan Lynn Walker of West Hartford and a brother, Charles Beem of Bangor, Maine. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sheehan Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, with the Rev. Carl Christenson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Derrall M. Beem, 60, of 58 College Highway, Granby, died Saturday at his home. Born May 10, 1901 in Blaine, Maine, he lived in Hartford 10 years before moving to Granby in 1951. He was employed as a car salesman in Massachusetts and later in Windsor. He was a member of St. Mark's Lodge 36. AF and AM, of Simsbury, and a former member of the Odd Fellows in Mars Hill, Maine. He leaves his wife, Mrs Ruth Dow Beem; a daughter, Mrs Arlette Patterson of Amherst, Mass., a brother, Charles E. Beem of Mars Hill; a sister, Mrs Shirley Walker of West Hartford, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Charles H. Vincent and Sons Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, with the Rev. Kenneth L. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Simsbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home Monday evening at 8.
