source: Josiah Raynor of Manorville, LI compiled by Stuart Howell in 2000. He has compiled and published a supplement to his 1st book on Josiah Raynor 3. I don't have that book but you could probably get a copy of the book from The Raynor Family Association. I also think the longislandgenealogy website may have Stuart Howell's books on a CD.

Nathan Raynor 7 born 1834, 1835 or 1836 (Job, Higby, Josiah, Josiah, Joseph, Thurston Raynor1) m. wife1, Edna Jane Conklin b. circa 1841 died 1883: age 42 buried in the Job Raynor burial plot at Cherry Valley Cemetery in East Manor. She is the daughter of Thomas and Claripa (Wood) Conklin of Aquebogue

You are probably connected to both Thurston Raynor1 who setttled in Southampton in the 1600s and his nephew, Edward Raynor 1, who settled in "Raynortown"
AKA Freeport, LI

There are no published books for Edward Raynor. but Bob Raynor has a website: "TheRaynorFamily" which deals with descendants Edward Raynor of Freeport born 1624.

I would be interested in any information you may have concerning ancestors living in the Freeport area who were born 1870 or before.
