My family Tree includes the Rattey (Rattray, Rattei, Ratachi.. all the same family) Don't know if this information will help or is even related.. but who knows! Cherei Tanniehill McCarter Anna Elizabet Nuske's fater is Gottfried Nuske. Gottfried Nuske married Maria Dorothea Mibus. She died at 'South Rhine' on Palm sunday 1863 and is buried at Springton. When Gottfried Nuske's widow, Maria migrated to Australia, she brought 3 children with her. Christian Nuske born in Poland 14 Aug 1830, died at Cambrai 21 July 1911. 11. Gottfried Nuske's 2 daughters werre: a) Anna Elizabeth Nuske b) Louise Nuske who married Erdmann ratei. Christian Nuske's family: 2 sons nd 5 daughters:: 1. Friedrick Willhelm Nuske born 3 June 1863. He married Minnie Brokate and lives at Renmark. 2. Carl Christain Nuske born 17 dec 1869. He married Aibiine Beanka Hines and lives at Renmar. 3. Emma Louise (Mrs Ramm) born 9 June 1864. was living at Black Hill. 4. Mathilde Pauline Nuske (Mrs Andrae) born 24 July, 1866. She lived at Cambral. 5. Emilie Martha Nuske (Mrs. Rhienhold Pietsch) born 3 Dec 1867, lived at Cambral. 6. Wilhelmine Henriette ( The late Mrs. Loechel) born 23 March 1872 and died 1 Nov 1926. 7. Ernestine Caroline Lydia Nuske born 5 Oct 1874. She was a spinster living at Black Hill.
