My father's name was Rayford T. Saucer, b. 1922, Alabama. He said that his family came from the Carolinas. I have been alerted to the fact that the Raifords/Rayfords and the Saucers were closely linked in land dealings in the Carolinas. In November 1926, Polly Raiford married Willie Sasser in Johnston Co, NC. I am trying to find out who their children were to see if they might have been parents or grandparents of my own grandfather, Oscar George Saucer. Saucer, born 1880.
