QUIRK Thomas b 1827 m. Maggie Quinn (KY); his parents were John QUIRK m. Katherine Sinnott (IRE). Older relatives in 1960s thought that they were from Wexford, and Maggie Quinn from John QUINN and Mary Moore of Kerry, but no one has ever been able to find details on any in Ireland. Maggie QUINN had 2 sisters and 1 brother: Julia QUINN Mulvehill (NY), Catherine QUINN (who we believe died on the boat) and Arthur James QUINN, who lived with his sister and her family in KY and then was killed running a Civil War blockade in the south, probably New Orleans.
