Sarah was born about 1643 in Salem, Essex, MA, married Joseph Whipple about 1665 in Ipswich and died July 16, 1676 in Ipswich. But, who were her parents? Was she related to Robert Quimby who was in Essex county also? Many entries on Ancestry have Robert as born in Amesbury, MA about 1638, the son of William Quimby of either Lincolnshire, or Surrey. Some have him born in one place and baptised in the other on the same day, which is ludicrous given they are many miles distant from each other. Obviously there were two different families and the researchers have confused and co-mingled them. I'd appreciate any help to straighten out this Quimby tangle!
