I am looking for David Osborne/Osburn, b. Guilford, NC. I found on the Church of Latter Day Saints a John 1730-1810 and Hannah Lowder whose daughter Mary married William Osborne and they had a son David, b. 1799 (I had previously understood my David Hampton Osborne/Osburn was born in Guilford 1802, so I'm looking for conformation that these Davids are one and the same. David's life is well documented. But according to one of his living great-grandchildren, William married out of the Quaker faith. It appears from the Mormon's Family search that Mary Lowder was a Quaker. David moved to florida and married Sarah Baker in 1829. She was killed by Indians. He married Eliza Jane Wells in 1832-5. He named his first daughter Mary and his first son William L., there followed a Peter and a Thomas and some others.
If you find that my David is connected to your John and Hannah, I've been searching a long time. Please let me know.
