My farthers name was Ernest Henry Purser. His family moved from Guildford to Reading and were shop keepers in Reading. Starting in a fish and chip shop in Caversham, then moving to Southampton Street, Reading where they ran a sweet shop, this would be during the 1920's to 1930's. Apparently my Great Grandfarther, or Great, Great Grandfarther had three daughters, out of wedlock in Canada. Any information on the Guildford Purser's and their family tree would be appreciated. My farthers brother was named Ted.
