Thanks for the info. The William Purser you mention was my great grandfather who married Martha Graves on Dec. 25, 1880. John and Lavina Keep would have been my great great grandparents.
I have heard from another descendant that Josiah was a brother to William. Josiah had four children. One of Josiah's children was Albert Ernest born August 12, 1871 who came to Canada.
William and Martha had children: Edith (Campbell) of Bower Street, Bedford; Annie (Brumwell) of 6 Eastcotts; George of 15 Church Street, Willington; Walter of Station Road, Willington; Thomas of New Westminster, BC; and my grandfather Albert who farmed in Alberta. There was also a son killed in action during the Great War. William was born 1860 at Willington and buried une 21, 1949 at Willington.
Thomas married a Beatrice King and Albert married Ethel Desmond. All four of these are now deceased. Albert has one son still living (his daughter - my mother) is deceased. Thomas had several children - several deceased now but I am in contact with one of his daughters and one of his granddaughters. They all live in BC.
Hope this will fill in some blanks - looks like we are related.
Looking forward tohearing from you again.
I have lots of information on the Thomas and Albert Purser families in Canada.
