Johnnie, your grandfather was Julis Mildred Shoat Pusser, 1877-1949 and your grandmother was Laura Nelia Baucom 1888-1968. Your dad was Lewis Alexander Pusser,1903-1968, and your mom was Neoma Pressely? Green Culpepper Pusser and Lydia Tossel (Hagler) Pusser are my great-grand parents. Their son Wade, brother of Julis, is my grandfather. I have a copy of a picture showing great-grandmother Lydia and some of Green and Lydia's children, however, Laura, Van, Martin, and Julis are not in the picture. The people in the picture are Edward, Wade, Lydia, Nora, Authur, Mel, Silas, Lonnie, Luther, Alex, and Hugh's son, called "Hughy" Hugh, as a very old man. "Hughy" Hugh was born after his father, Hugh Pusser, was killed on May 8, 1864 at the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse. Hughy was purported to be a "healer" with special powers to aid the sick and injured. I have the Pusser/Purser genealogy back to Robert Purser of Virginia in the 1600's.
