Vaughn: My Purser line came from Georgia to Mississippi. William M. Purser, dob 8-21-1825 married the first time Nancy Williamson, and settled in Magee, Simpson, Co. Ms. They had children, Elias, Lily, Jackson P., Lafayette P. and Mary. Nancy died in 1900 & William M. married Mary Ann Ware and they had William Francis, Christian and Marthey A. & stayed in Magee, Simpson Co. Ms. I did find a connection to Lafayette from a lady in Natchez, Ms. whom I am corresponding with. Any information on this Purser line I will appreciate as I do believe all the Pursers have some kind of connection. Thanks
