I am portuguese, I never heard that surname, Quidera. I searched in phonebook online, there is no Quidera either. Same as a place or town, I never heard of Quidera. I used google maps too, no results. The closest I can think of is Figueira, both a surname ( more than 4000 entries in phonebook) a city and at least a square in Lisbon. Though its a little diferent from Quidera, but if it was copied from some old register book, it was easy to make the mistake, with old handwriting. Anyway if you want more information you must provide, at least, the name of parrish of origin, town and year of birth or marriage/death. It is necessary to be precise on origin as there are about 500 years of register books to search, at least in towns.
