Your posting caused me to review my own information on Rebecca Ponton Fortune. I believe your dates for birth and death of Rebecca are fairly accurate. I went back to an original letter I have from her son Benjamin S. Fortune, my gg-grandfather, to his son saying that she died in 1866. He doesn't give an exact date in that letter. I had seen her death shown as 1826 in other peoples research which I had been carrying in mine also but I now believe on further examination the 1860 census info and my letter clearly disprove that. I don't know why I hadn't caught that before.
