Bill, My g/g/grandmother was a polk who married a Cagle. I assume that if I was tested, it could not be compared to the Polk line. Is that correct? As of yet, I have not been able to find a Polk descendent of my Polk family. There are some of the Capt. Charles Polk, 1732-1821, line living nearby, but none related to Charles T. Polk, 1780-1839.
