99 % I think that Roszce can be today Roszczyce,
because in Kashubian language(język kaszubski - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashubian_language) Roszczyce named Rószczëce.
Becouse Poland many time (must) change border, Roszce can stay in today territory Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine etc.
Polish language have difficult Grammatik, e.g.:
City: Boston, but
I be in (w) Bostonie,
We go to (do) Bostonu
E.g. born In Roszce, can mean name village “Roszka” or “Roska”. (?)
For Roszczyce, in National Archive in Gdańsk (Archiwum Narodowe w Gdańsku),
ask if they have born records for your ancestors who probably born in Roszczyce, in gmina WIcko, powiat Lębork, województwo Pomorskie.
I found Albert J. Pasko, who born 25 Dec 1885 / 1886 , and died 23 Apr 1944, parents Poul Pasko and Mayt Golow.
He have two years of birth, because if in parish be russian-language priest, they write two dates, One for I say “West Europe Year”, and second “from russian calendar” – they be a different.
