hi, To me the book is well worth the money. A lot of my relatives are in this book. But it costs to mail.....There is a sight "on the net" from Tignish that has it there. I found it tricky to follow. I don't know if it can be printed out. Try putting "tignish pei" in a search engine.....i will try to find it also. There is a lot of Poirier information from pages 227-352 Have you been to Dave Hunter's Island Register, the lineage site has Gary Gallnt's Poirier file? My Poirier family, my mother was a Perry/Poirier, born Summerside,PEI. Her father was Jean Baptiste Poirier born 1890, St.Nicholas PEI son of Amable Poirier also of St,Nicholas. Then things change. He was the son of Charles Poirier from Baie-des-Chaleurs, N.B. Who came to PEI met & married Thersile Gaudet from Miscouche s/o Charles Poirier & Louise "Lisette" Poirier s/o Charles Poirier born abt.1760 & Isabelle Arsenault Thats as far as I got on this side.
