William; Did you mean BROTHER or brother-in law? Surely Walter Pitin and John Owen were not brothers ?? Anyway, I know nothing of a John Owen, but a Walter Pitkin married Catherine Bogart Stanley b. 1812, the daughter of Martin Stanley. She was my great grandfather's sister. Walter was a silversmith and I have some serving spoons that he made for my great grandparents. If there's anything else I can help you with, let me know. Lelia
