Now I see where you are coming from. I take it you have all the David Lester's but I will list them anyway. David Lester Pitcher B. 17 Jul 1919 His Father: David Lester Pitcher B. 16 Sept 1880 Fairfax VA His Father: David Lester Pitcher B. 5 Sep 1836 Oswego Co., NY I found, as you, no reference to who his Father was. So, I searched the census for 1840,1850 and 1860. I found only one possible. Alexander Pitcher B. 1798 CT. He is listed 1840, 1850 Mexico, Oswego Co., NY 1850 census: Alexander age 52, B. CT Farmer Lucy, Wife age 36 Adin age 16 Dwight age 14 David age 11 Alice age 1 1860 census Lucy is widow, B. NH age 45 Adin age 26 Dwight age 24 David age 22 Alice age 11 If that IS a possible, you would be connected to the Andrew Pitcher Line Alexander B. 25 Mar 1797 Norwich New London Co., CT. Using David L Pitcher as a search reference I found no connection to the German Pitcher's of Palermo. I found them but no David for any of them showed up on any census listing. Now, I probably have you really confused. On top of that, I don't have a wife or children connected to this Alexander in my data base. If it is your Alexander, I could trace him back to 1630.
