Internet information on Ebenezer & son are poor. I believe deaths are accurate. From Rutland Historical Society Quarterly, Vol 13, spring 1983, ( Title: Epedemic of 1813 ) ... Lung fever killed about 60 in 1813 who are all buried in Rutland Cemetery. Only a few have head stone's, (Pitcher,s did not) Page 42 List: Pitcher, Capt. Ebenezer, died 28 March 1813, ae 55 yrs in west Parish Pitcher, Capt. Ebenezer, died 01 Jan 1813, ae above 90, in West Parish A new book that just came out "A Genealogical History of the descendants of Andrew Pitcher & Margaret Russell 1634-2007, 942 pages, from www.HeritageBooks.com Has the most accurate account of the Ebenezer's with source information index. Hope this will help. |
