I have read with interest the entries on Michael Leonardt Pirtle and his family as I am a direct descendent. The research that many have done has been really impressive. I am however confused about his grandparents names. I have seen on different entries his grandparents listed as Hans Jacob and Anna Barbara Berkel and also as Michael Birkle and Maria Willmann. I would really appreciate some clarification on this. Thanks so much for your assistance. Elizabeth
