Hello Bettie, It's been a while since I corresponded with you on the Pilkington's. In response to your message about John T. Pilkington m. Ida Locklear, St. Clair AL 1895. John t. was a son of Jasper My g-grand-father. I don't know very much but they lived in Leeds/Marketa,area of Jefferson county, Al,- St. Clair Cty, in the Bethel Baptist Church area between Leeds & Branchville/Odenville area. A couple of their children were, Rosa Marie who married a Joseph Burroughs. She is buried in Brazoria, Clute Texas, Joseph is buried in Bethel cemetery in un marked grave, Houston is buried in unmarked grave in Evergreen Cemetery, in the Odenville/Friendship community of St. Clair County along with Quillian, both never married, Quillian, was a cook in the Army during WW-II. Duffy-Maybe a nick-name,moved to S.Carolina, near Spartanburg, and either Ethel & Hutch (Man & Wife) who also moved to S.C. I have a little bit more on these but not much. Will be glad to share what I have in addition.
