Am searching for my daughters, I have a birthday article from Berea Citizen newspaper dated March 1983. Lucy Ellen Pigg celebrated her 99th birthday at her home at Morrill in Jackson Co. Ky. on March 3rd. Mrs Pigg was born the second of 10 chidren in 1884 to Jim and Sallie Hazelwood in Clay County. They moved to the Red Lick area of Madison Co. Ky. where she grew up. She married Jess Pigg in 1901 and reared 10 of her 12 children in Jackson and Rockcastle Counties. This lady was my mother in law's grandmother.
