I can prove that no John Pykarell (Pickerell) and his family came to Virginia in 1590. The whole family was an invention and should not be on anyone's pedigree chart. I have just completed a ten page report to explain all this. It is well documented with carefully annotated historical references. Interested parties can contact me at rcarlislee@yahoo.com. All Pickerill (various spellings) family historians are urged to do so. The report reads like a detective story.
