Hi Terry- Sarah (Blocker) Phipps would have then been a niece to William G. Blocker, in that Sarah's father, Michael P. Blocker and William were both sons of Michael Blocker IV and Mary Ann(Graham)Blocker. That would have made Mary Phipps, William G. Blocker's Grand niece. By the way Dan Blocker (Hoss from Bonanza) is also a decendant of this same family. His Great Grandfather was Michael Patrick Blocker, who was also a brother of William G. and Sarah Blocker. -ed
