You may be interested in my website: www.btinternet.com/~brifett/fortune.htm It includes Phillip Phetteplace Bn 1621, the first of the American line. My grandfather, Samuel Fetterplace (killed in WW1) was the eldest son of Samuel who emigrated to Australia in 1912 with his younger sons, Cyril, Karl and Reginald. The Fetterplace line in Australia is thriving !! Prior to Phillip, a William and Michael Phetteplace accompanied Capt. John Smith to Virginia in 1607. One thing is certain .. we didn't inherit the wealth or Manors !!
