Here's what little I know about my Phaup ancestors--hopefully some of the names will help others flesh out their family trees:

Per the 1860 census (where Richard is age 41 and Lucy is age 33), their children include Novia S. (age 12), Fannie A. (age 10), John W. (age 7), Alice E(lizabeth, my great-grandmother, age 3), and Olivia (age 2). Eudora (shown as age 20 in the 1870 census) is not listed.

Per the 1870 census (where Richard is age 51 and Lucy is age 43), their children include Eudora (age 20), John W. (age 15), Alice Elizabeth (age 13), Lucy (age 9), Mary (age 7), Alma (age 5), and Virginia (age 3). Novia S., Fannie A., and Olivia are not listed.

Per the 1880 census (where Richard is age 61 and Lucy is age 52), their children include John W. (age 25), Alice Elizabeth (age 20), Lucy (age 18), Mary (age 16), Alma (age 15), and Virginia (age 12). Novia S., Fannie A., Eudora, and Olivia are not listed.

My mother and her two sisters (one of whom is named after their grandmother, Alice Elizabeth PHAUP) remember their great-aunts Lucy, Mary ("May"), Alma, and Virginia ("Ginnie"), but do not recollect great-aunts named Novia, Fannie, Eudora, or Olivia.
